Jeju Poker Festival 2025 Wrap-up and Upcoming Red Dragon Poker Tour Plus on April 2026

The Jeju Poker Festival 2025, held from November 1 to 12 in Jeju, South Korea, concluded as one of the most diverse and ambitious poker series of the year. The festival brought together three major brands: the Red Dragon Poker Tour (RDPT), World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime Korea, and Korean Poker Cup (KPC), offering players 12 days of continuous action across No-Limit Hold’em, mixed games, high rollers, and mystery bounty formats.

The schedule opened with the RD Expedition Club Team Event, which ran through the first two days and set the tone for a festival focused on variety and competitive play. Team Pay With Crypto (PWC) claimed the overall championship, finishing with 46 points earned across three formats: the 8-Handed Sit & Go, the Tag Team KO Sit & Go, and the Heads-Up Elimination round.

Main Events

WPT Prime Korea concluded with China’s Zengxiang Chen taking home the trophy and KRW 129 million (~$90,365). The tournament attracted 515 entries across three flights, surpassing its KRW 350 million guarantee and building a prize pool of KRW 667,440,000 (~$467,430).

The KPC Main Event delivered one of the festival’s biggest turnouts, with China’s Yuhao Zhang emerging victorious with KRW 200.9 million (~$139,000) payout.

The most prominent attraction, however, was the Red Dragon Championship, boasting a 1.65 billion KRW (~$1.1 million) guarantee. China’s Xiao Zhang took home the title and the KRW 378.5 million (~$259,980) prize.

Alongside these flagship events, the festival showcased a deep selection of side tournaments and speciality formats. The Baby Dragon finished on November 8, while the Dragon Egg Mystery Bounty played out between November 10 and 11. The Red Dragon Mini Main brought additional late-series excitement on November 11 and 12.

Mixed-game players also enjoyed a wide spread of formats, including Triple Draw, Drawmaha, Stud, Big O, 9-Game, Dealer’s Choice, and Big Bet Mix, all scheduled throughout the festival. PLO variants, Short Deck, Bomb Pot events, and multiple bounty tournaments took place daily, ensuring nonstop action for players of every preference.

High Roller Highlights

High rollers were another highlight of the series. The KPC Super High Roller ended with China’s Ye Wang emerging victorious with $682,200 among 94 entries.

The Red Dragon Prestige Super High Roller concluded with Vietnam’s Khoa Anh Ngo capturing the top payout of KRW 426.1 million (~$298,310), while its sister event, the Prestige High Roller, wrapped up with Taiwan’s Meng Ling Lin earning KRW 282 million (~$192,390) for her victory.

Daily Hyper Turbos, Win-the-Button formats, Super Stack events, and Bomb Pot tournaments filled the schedule between marquee events, creating a lively atmosphere across all twelve days.

Overall, the Jeju Poker Festival 2025 delivered a packed and memorable series, combining premier championship events with an extensive range of side tournaments and mixed-game offerings.
