
The Zodiac Series of Poker (ZSOP) concluded its second-ever festival with a grand finale in Taipei, taking place from September 11 to 22, 2025, at the Asia Poker Arena, CTP Club. Branded The Final Snake, the series proved that ZSOP’s mix of competitive poker and festival-style flair has struck a chord with players across Asia and beyond.
With a guaranteed prize pool of NT$27 million (~US$820,000) spread across 63 tournaments and 23 satellites, the festival offered something for every bankroll, from NT$3,000 turbos (~US$97) to the NT$120,000 (~US$3,910) Super High Roller.
The Zodiac Snake Main Event (#Z10) stole the spotlight, drawing a massive 1,506 entries. Taiwan’s Ori Kossonogi emerged as the champion, banking NT$4,510,600 (~US$149,920) and etching his name into the young but growing legacy of the ZSOP.
Beyond the Main Event, several marquee tournaments delivered big moments:

The festival showcased a truly global player pool. Champions hailed from Taiwan, Thailand, Korea, Japan, Australia, Germany, the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, USA, Belgium, France, and Russia.
While Taiwan’s local contingent dominated the trophy count, strong performances from Korea, Thailand, and Australia highlighted the depth of talent in the region.
Despite being only in its second edition, ZSOP has already proven itself as one of Asia’s most creative and entertaining poker series. By mixing traditional formats, festival-style fun, and fresh branding, the series has built rapid momentum in just two stops.
With the success of The Final Snake, all eyes will be on what the Zodiac Series of Poker announces next.
